Teddy Bear of The Year is a Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Selection

This Dolly Parton fan is *beyond thrilled* to share the news that Teddy Bear of the Year has been selected for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library program! This makes me one step closer to Dolly, y’all! This free book program makes a huge difference in the lives of under-privileged children. Each month, enrolled children receive a high quality, age appropriate book in the mail, free of charge, from birth to age five. That’s a lot of books and a fantastic library for families who may not otherwise be able to afford it. To find out more about the program, or how you can support it, visit the website here.

In more Dolly news, tonight is the world premiere of the documentary The Library That Dolly Built, which explains the history and impact of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library program. It will be followed by a Q&A and performance from The Queen herself. Tune in at 7pm EST on Facebook. I dare you to check out the trailer below and not weep!
